Personal Subscribers
The subscriprion fee allows access to a single individual only. The individual
should not share his login access codes (userID and password ) with others
and use the service for his or her own personal purpose. Access can be
via an IP address verification (tied to a specific computer) or via a password.
Educational Institutions
The subscriprion fee allows access for all employees and students at all
physical sites that are legally part of a single educational institution
(e.g., the university UCLA). For the purposes of this policy, autonomous
institutions that are part of a State or Regional educational system are
each deemed to be single educational institutions. In this context, ‘autonomous
institutions’ means universities and colleges that are funded by the State
and are part of a state or regional system, but are managed, controlled
and administered locally.
Two or more legally separated institutions, including autonomous institutions
that are part of a state or regional systems, may form a consortium to
purchase electronic access to the MDPI journals. For more information about
consortium subscriptions, please contact [email protected].
Non-Educational Institutions and Commercial Organization
The subscriprion fee access for all employees at the subscribing site and
all other affiliated sites physically located within a single country.
If the subscribing organization wishes to provide access to the MDPI journals
to its locations in other countries, the rate is $250 per country for the
first 5 countries, and $100 for each country added thereafter. For more
information on multi-site subscriptions, please contact [email protected].
The rates for subscription package on all MDPI journals published during
1997-2000 are listed at http://www.mdpi.org/natsci/subs.htm.
