Aims
- Molbank
is a communication
journal
of synthetic
chemistry and natural product chemistry. Review papers on compound
archives
management, database design, chemical collection and chemical museum
will
also be published. It publishes short notes and communications. Short
notes
of experimental data records for individual molecules will be
published.
Any scattered unassembled experimental data for individual compounds
which
is conventionally not publishable is particularly welcomed, to be
published
as one-paper one-page for one structure. Availability of compound
samples
is published and considered as important information. Authors are
encouraged
to register or deposit their chemical samples through the non-profit
international
organization MDPI.
Molbank
has been launched to preserve
and exploit molecular diversity of both chemical information and
chemical
substances.
Scope
- organic synthesis
- biosynthesis
- extraction and purification
- natural
product derivatives
- structural elucidation (X-ray
crystallography, NMR, etc.)
Review papers on the following topics will also be considered
for publication:
- compound archives management
- compound database design and management
