Therefore, MDPI takes no position regarding the validity of any patent rights asserted in connection with any compounds and their production procedures. Users of the preparation methods described and the samples requested from MDPI are expressly advised that determination of the validity of any such patent rights, and the risk of infringement of such rights, are entirely their own responsibility. Because research samples "preparation according to literature" is a common practice of chemists, we suggest that those MDPI provided samples requested and used by users be treated by the users as if the samples were obtained according to published literature or therein cited relevant reference(s), including patents.
